Compression Fittings For Plastic Tubing
Installing the Omni RO2000 Replacement Faucet

Call us for the RO2000 Faucet connection kit if you need these fittings. $7.95
(they may also be available at your local plumbing supply store) 
Note faucet hoses are 1/4" and 3/8" in diameter

When using plastic tubing, the "plastic sleeve" must be used and the "brass insert" must be used.

The size of the plastic sleeve and the brass insert must be chosen according to the outside dimensions of the clear vinyl tubing to be used.

The plastic sleeve is used to seal against the outside of the plastic tubing and the tapered end will seal into the compression fitting.
The brass insert is used to keep the inside of the plastic tubing from collapsing as the compression fitting is tightened.

Because of the product�s limited service life and to prevent costly repairs or possible water damage, we strongly recommend that the bottom of all plastic housings be replaced every ten years. If the bottom of your housing has been in use for longer than this period, it should be replaced immediately. Date the bottom of any new or replacement housing to indicate the next recommended replacement date.
